We are Walsall Video Launched

Showcasing the best of Walsall is the aim of the new We are Walsall video launched recently.  Take a look for yourself and see if you can spot any of your familiar favourite shops, stop offs and characters?


The video captures many of the people and places which make up Walsall, identifying some of the hidden gems and local landmarks which are ready to explore. The video highlights the green and open landscape of the arboretum and the opportunities for leisure and family time in the heart of the town centre.  Some of the familiar faces at Walsall’s historic market are captured for the best fresh fruit, veg and fish in town.  It takes a visit to the museum and art gallery to open up a whole new world of local events, workshops and inspiration for creativity and cultural activity. With a stop of at the Saddlers Shopping centre with easy parking and a whole range of gifts, beauty, fashion and food court favourites.

The campaign has been made possible by government grants from the Reopening High Streets Safely and Welcome Back funds supported by the European Regional Development Fund. The grants have allowed the council to create an ambitious campaign that includes radio advertising, large poster sites, street banners, video, pop-up events and family activities through the summer right up to Christmas.
