We’re delighted to announce that the refurbishment of Bradford Mall, located on the ground floor of The Saddlers Shopping Centre, is now complete!

This is the first phase of Walsall’s Connected Gateway project — bringing a fresh, modern look to the ground floor of the Saddlers Centre.

The revamped Bradford Mall now features brighter natural light, new flooring, upgraded shopfronts, and improved escalators and stairs — creating a more welcoming and accessible shopping experience.

Cllr Adrian Andrew, Deputy Leader of Walsall Council, said:

“It’s great to see the first phase complete — the Saddlers Centre already feels more inviting and modern. This transformation is opening up new opportunities for business and leisure in Walsall.”

Delivered by Speller Metcalfe, this milestone marks the beginning of a wider regeneration linking Walsall’s bus and rail hubs, revitalising Park Street, and creating a truly connected, vibrant town centre.
