Spring into Easter with our Saddlers ideas!
We’re a few weeks into spring and gradually seeing some wonderful daffodil displays and signs of life in our gardens. It’s time to spring clean the house and get the garden ready for your Easter Egg hunts and family activities.
Here’s some activities and ideas on how to keep busy over the Easter Holidays….
Hopping into Greggs is a chocolate yummy, bunny biscuit every child will love! Did you know they do takeaway pizza too, for an alfresco lunch in the park maybe?
Heron Food’s has some fun activities to keep the kids entertained this Easter. There are some super family recipes to try out too. A family favourite is the frozen fruit smoothy as its so easy to make or the hotchpotch tart. Check instore for Easter cakes and eggs galore!

Supporting local small businesses is key this year and caring for our planet at the same time is an added bonus. So take a minute to have a look at Eden’s Weigh who is a zero-waste supermarket based at the Saddlers Centre and one of a few popping up around the Midlands and proving very popular. Eden’s Weigh has everything you’d find in your regular supermarket but with zero waste, no plastic and a more sustainable supply and distribution method. Products include cereals and oats, rice and pasta, fruit, coffee, tea and hot chocolate to sweets and household products like bamboo straws, wooden spatulas and toiletries. Click and collect for an Easter veg box and take a look at all the amazing new product they are introducing this Spring. Including vegan sweeties! Check their opening times before visiting though.
It’s Costa Coffee’s 50th Birthday and they have lots of treats in store for Easter, including a breakfast menu for a special family gathering in the Park. Why not grab a coffee and pick up your daily essentials at the Saddlers Centre at the same time?
